A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE DEATH OF GAIL POORE HARBERT OF ANDERSON COUNTY, AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Whereas, Gail Poore Harbert of Anderson County died on April 2, 1993, at the age of forty-three; and

Whereas, Mrs. Harbert graduated from T. L. Hanna High School in Anderson, attended Anderson College, and was a member of the Anderson Junior League; and

Whereas, she was a former president of the PTA at Concord Elementary School and McCants Junior High School and was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School; and

Whereas, she was an outstanding lady who gave generously of her time and talents to her community, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express sorrow at the death of Gail Poore Harbert of Anderson County and extend sympathy to her family and friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Harbert's widower, Mr. Ken Harbert, 108 Fieldstone Way, Anderson.
