A BILL

TO AMEND SECTIONS 42-7-10, AS AMENDED, AND 42-7-20, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT, CONTENTS, AND ADMINISTRATION OF THE STATE WORKERS' COMPENSATION FUND, SO AS TO DELETE CERTAIN PROVISIONS, AND PROVIDE A DIFFERENT MANNER OF APPOINTMENT FOR THE FUND'S DIRECTOR.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 42-7-10 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Section 22 of Part II of Act 189 of 1989, is further amended to read:

SECTION 2. Section 42-7-20 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
