TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 57-3-475 SO AS TO ESTABLISH THE OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL IN THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND POWERS OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 57-3-475. The Office of Inspector General of the Department of Highways and Public Transportation is created with the following functions, duties, and powers:
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
