TO AMEND SECTION 59-119-310, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CLEMSON UNIVERSITY AS A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, SO AS TO REVISE ITS BOUNDARIES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 59-119-310 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"Section 59-119-310. A municipal corporation is hereby created, known as Clemson University,. The limits of which shall the corporation consist of all lands belonging to Clemson University and cover all the territory included in a circle formed with the university building Tillman Hall as a center, with a radius of five three miles, thus making the diameter of the circle ten six miles, within which boundaries. The jurisdiction of the corporation shall extend extends within these boundaries."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
