TO DIRECT THE STATE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD TO CREATE A UNIFIED STATE EMPLOYMENT PROCESS INCLUDING A SINGLE STATE EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION; A CENTRAL JOB BANK OF VACANCIES ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC; AND WEEKLY REPORTING OF VACANCIES AT THE EMPLOYMENT SECURITY COMMISSION LOCAL OFFICES.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. (A) The State Budget and Control Board shall create a unified state employment process in which:
(1) a single employment application form, developed by Human Resource Management, must be used by all state agencies for all positions;
(2) all state agency vacancies throughout the State must be publicized in a timely manner through a central job bank which is available to the public; and
(3) all state agency vacancies throughout the State must be posted in each county employment security commission.
(B) Human Resource Management shall coordinate and disseminate the central job bank information and job vacancies to county employment security commission offices in a timely and efficient manner.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
