TO CONGRATULATE THE T.L. HANNA HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' TRACK TEAM OF ANDERSON UPON WINNING THE 1993 STATE AAA TRACK AND FIELD GIRLS' CHAMPIONSHIP.
Whereas, the T. L. Hanna Girls' Track Team ran away with the state championship for the first time in school history; and
Whereas, the team scored 103 points and their next closest competitors, Beaufort and Hilton Head, had 48 points each; and
Whereas, the team brought home three gold medals, three silver medals, and four bronze medals; and
Whereas, sixteen of the team members finished in the top seven; and
Whereas, five girls were named to the South Carolina Allstate Track and Field Team; and
Whereas, the team worked extra hard during the season and the championship. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly congratulate the T. L. Hanna High School Girls' Track Team of Anderson upon winning the 1993 State AAA Track and Field Girls' Championship.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the T. L. Hanna High School Girls' Track Team.
