A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE PAUL AND JO BROWN UPON CELEBRATING THEIR TWENTY-FIFTH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY.

Whereas, Paul and Jo Brown were married on June 7, 1968, at Confidence United Methodist Church in Toccoa, Georgia; and

Whereas, Paul Brown was late for his own wedding because he had a chiropractic adjustment; and

Whereas, the couple was married by Paul's father, the late Reverend Devee Brown; and

Whereas, their wedding reception was held at the Toccoa Falls Cafeteria where approximately 250 guests attended; and

Whereas, Paul and Jo met at Toccoa Falls Institute in Toccoa, Georgia when Jo was eighteen years old and Paul was twenty-one years old; and

Whereas, they are celebrating twenty-five years of a happy union. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate Paul and Jo Brown upon celebrating their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. and Mrs. Brown.
