CONGRATULATING DR. SYLVIA WEINBERG, SUPERINTENDENT OF CLARENDON SCHOOL DISTRICT TWO, ON RECEIVING ONE OF TWO 1993 OUTSTANDING SUPERINTENDENT AWARDS FROM THE SOUTH CAROLINA SCHOOL BOARDS ASSOCIATION.
Whereas, Dr. Sylvia Weinberg serves with great distinction as the Superintendent of Clarendon School District Two; and
Whereas, she was chosen by the South Carolina School Boards Association to receive one of two 1993 Outstanding Superintendent awards; and
Whereas, the award was presented to Dr. Weinberg at the association's annual convention in Myrtle Beach; and
Whereas, she is highly dedicated to achieving excellence in public education and is a truly deserving recipient of this prestigious award. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates Dr. Sylvia Weinberg, Superintendent of Clarendon School District Two, on receiving one of two 1993 Outstanding Superintendent awards from the South Carolina School Boards Association.
Be it further resolved that copies of this resolution be forwarded to Dr. Weinberg and to Jesse Thompson, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Clarendon School District Two.
