A BILL

TO ABOLISH THE RESTITUTION CENTER PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PROBATION, PAROLE AND PARDON SERVICES AND TO REPEAL SECTIONS 24-21-480 AND 24-21-485, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE RESTITUTION CENTER PROGRAM OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PROBATION, PAROLE AND PARDON SERVICES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. On the effective date of this act, the Restitution Center Program of the Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services is abolished.

SECTION 2. Sections 24-21-480 and 24-21-485 of the 1976 Code are repealed.

SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
