TO AMEND SECTION 56-5-1570, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS FOR CERTAIN VEHICLES SO AS TO INCREASE THE SPEED LIMIT FOR VEHICLES TOWING HOUSE TRAILERS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 56-5-1570(a) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"(a) Vehicles towing house trailers.--No person shall drive a vehicle which is towing a house trailer at a speed greater than a maximum of forty-five fifty-five miles per hour."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
