A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50-13-232 SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR A SIZE LIMIT FOR STRIPED BASS ON LAKE WATEREE AND FOR PENALTIES.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 50-13-232. Notwithstanding the restrictions in this title, it is unlawful to take or possess striped bass less than twenty-one inches on Lake Wateree. A person who violates this section, upon conviction, must be punished as provided in Section 50-13-285."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
