A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

INVITING KIMBERLY AIKEN OF COLUMBIA, MISS AMERICA 1994, AND LU PARKER OF ESTILL, MISS USA 1994, TO APPEAR TOGETHER IN A JOINT SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, ON A DATE AND AT A TIME TO BE DETERMINED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE AND THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING BRIEF REMARKS AND TO BE CONGRATULATED UPON THEIR RESPECTIVE PAGEANT VICTORIES.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That Kimberly Aiken of Columbia, Miss America 1994, and Lu Parker of Estill, Miss USA 1994, be invited to appear together in a joint session of the General Assembly in the Hall of the House of Representatives, on a date and at a time to be determined by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, for the purpose of making brief remarks and to be congratulated upon their respective pageant victories.
