A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY, THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE AND TAXATION, AND THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, AS APPLICABLE, TO OPEN ALL WEIGH STATIONS ON INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS AND TO REMAIN OPEN.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The Department of Public Safety, the Department of Revenue and Taxation, and the Department of Transportation, as applicable, are directed to open all weigh stations on interstate highways and to remain open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
