To whom was referred a Bill (H. 4920), to amend Section 50-11-703, as amended, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to the prohibition on the use of lights from vehicles to observe or harass wildlife in Game Zone 1, so as to include Game Zone 3, etc., respectfully

A BILL

TO AMEND SECTION 50-11-703, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE PROHIBITION ON THE USE OF LIGHTS FROM VEHICLES TO OBSERVE OR HARASS WILDLIFE IN GAME ZONE 1, SO AS TO INCLUDE GAME ZONE 3.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Section 50-11-703 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Section 1262, Act 181 of 1993, is further amended to read:

"Section 50-11-703. (A) In Game Zone No. Zones 1 and 3 the use of artificial lights from any a vehicle or water conveyance for the purpose of observing to observe or harassing harass wildlife is unlawful.

(B) Any A person violating the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than one hundred dollars or imprisoned for not more than thirty days."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
