EXPRESSING THE SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF B. B. CAVE OF COLLETON COUNTY WHO DIED TUESDAY, MAY 10, 1994.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly were saddened to learn that Mr. B. B. Cave of Colleton County died on Tuesday, May 10, 1994; and
Whereas, Mr. Cave was an active and unselfish public servant devoting most of his time toward the betterment of his fellow man; and
Whereas, he was Secretary of his Sunday School for the Walterboro First Baptist Church for forty years, where he was also an Honorary Life Deacon; and
Whereas, he was Treasurer of the Colleton Baptist Association from 1970 to 1978 and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Connie Maxwell Children's Home; and
Whereas, Mr. Cave was an active member of the Walterboro Lions and Rotary Clubs; and
Whereas, his Father served honorably as a Captain in the War between the States; and
Whereas, his record of public service and his contributions to the citizens of Colleton County will live long in our memory. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of South Carolina extend their deepest sympathy to the family and many friends of B. B. Cave who gave selflessly to his family, his church, and his community.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Moody Cave.
