A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING THE CHESTER HIGH SCHOOL LADY CYCLONES ON WINNING THE 1993 GIRLS BASKETBALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Whereas, the Lady Cyclones of Chester High School in the 1992-93 girls basketball season were regular season champs, won the up-state championship by defeating Greenwood High School, and captured the state championship by defeating Summerville High School in Class AAAA; and

Whereas, the Lady Cyclones finished the 1992-93 campaign with a superb 30-3 overall record, and exhibited wonderful talent, hard work, determination, and unity which culminated in winning the state crown; and

Whereas, Chester High School's accomplishments this season were due in no small measure to the ability and leadership of Coach Sue Misenheimer, her staff, and the team's trainers; and

Whereas, the Lady Cyclones' state title is highly deserving of recognition and commendation. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates the Chester High School Lady Cyclones on winning the 1993 girls basketball state championship.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Sue Misenheimer, her staff, the team trainers, and the members of the 1992-93 Lady Cyclones' basketball team of Chester High School.
