TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 1-11-455 SO AS TO REQUIRE THE BUDGET AND CONTROL BOARD TO DEVELOP AND PUBLISH RULES PERTAINING TO PRINTING BY STATE AGENCIES, DEPARTMENTS, INSTITUTIONS, AND DIVISIONS AND PROVIDE AN EXCEPTION.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Chapter 11, Title 1 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 1-11-455. The State Budget and Control Board shall develop and publish rules requiring agencies, departments, institutions, and divisions of state government to print in one color, unless the publication is an advertising or promotional publication which must be on uncoated paper."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
