TO AMEND ACT 268 OF 1989, RELATING TO THE TAX MILLAGE AUTHORIZED TO BE LEVIED FOR THE OPERATION OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF AIKEN COUNTY, SO AS TO INCREASE THE AUTHORIZED MILLAGE.
Amend Title To Conform
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Act 268 of 1989 is amended to read:
"For the year 1989 1993 and thereafter, a tax millage of eighty-four eighty-eight and three tenths mills is authorized to be levied by the Aiken County Board of Education for the operations of the school district of Aiken County."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
