A SENATE RESOLUTION

COMMENDING MARY D. DUSENBERRY FOR HER SERVICE ON THE TRI-COUNTY AREA COMMISSION FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION.

Whereas, Mary D. Dusenberry has provided nine years of outstanding leadership as a member of the Tri-County Technical College Area Commission; and

Whereas, she has chaired the Master Plan and Building Committee since 1989 through important years of campus development; and

Whereas, during her tenure on the commission, she has always supported the purpose and mission of Tri-County Technical College and the State Technical Education System through her deliberations and actions; and

Whereas, Tri-County Tech and the State Tech System have benefitted from her wisdom, leadership, and actions; and

Whereas, the residents of Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties have access to improved educational programs and the economic development of the area has been enhanced by her service on the Area Commission. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the Senate extends it appreciation to Mary D. Dusenberry for her altruistic service to the people of our great State through her enthusiastic participation on the Tri-County Area Commission for technical education.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mary D. Dusenberry.
