A SENATE RESOLUTION

TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SENATE TO THE FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS OF MR. ROBERT A. (BOBBY) COVAR OF EDGEFIELD, WHO DIED WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 1995.

Whereas, Mr. Robert A. (Bobby) Covar of Edgefield, died Wednesday, September 6, 1995; and

Whereas, Mr. Covar was a lifelong resident and businessman of Edgefield County; and

Whereas, Mr. Covar owned the Gulf station on Main Street adjacent to the Town Hall in Edgefield for many years and also served as a rural mail carrier; and

Whereas, Mr. Covar was known as an extremely kind and cheerful person who was always ready to help his fellow man, whether it be an old friend or a visitor just passing through town; and

Whereas, known for his positive attitude and strong support of his community, Mr. Covar, through his good citizenship, was a truly exemplary individual. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the members of the Senate express their deepest sympathy to the family and many friends of Mr. Robert A. (Bobby) Covar of Edgefield, who died Wednesday, September 6, 1995.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the family of Mr. Covar.
