A SENATE RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING SORROW AT THE DEATH OF MR. LYLE CHRISTIAN OF ROCK HILL AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, Mr. Lyle Christian of Rock Hill, former president and owner of Bass Funeral Home, died Wednesday, April 10, 1996 at the age of sixty-seven; and

Whereas, Mr. Christian was an outstanding businessman and a hard-working, dedicated member of the community; he was known to be loving, caring, and compassionate in the assistance and guidance he rendered countless families during his thirty-year career at Bass Funeral Home; and he was a true gentleman whose presence will be greatly missed; and

Whereas, we want his family and many friends to know that they are uppermost in our thoughts and have our deepest sympathy. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate:

That the Senate of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, expresses sorrow at the death of Mr. Lyle Christian of Rock Hill and extends sympathy to his family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Christian's family.
