A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO APPROPRIATE FROM FISCAL YEAR 1993-94 SURPLUS GENERAL FUND REVENUES, AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $38,787,632 FOR THE STATE HOUSE RENOVATION PROJECT AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE CARRY FORWARD OF THESE FUNDS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. All fiscal year 1993-94 surplus general fund revenues, in an amount not to exceed $38,787,632, are appropriated from the state general fund to the South Carolina State Budget and Control Board, Division of General Services for the State House Renovation project. These funds may be carried forward into future fiscal years for the same purpose, until such time as the State House Renovation project has been completed or until the funds have been expended.

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
