TO AMEND RULE 6.1 OF THE RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, RELATING TO THE TIME OF MEETINGS OF THE HOUSE, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE HOUSE MAY NOT MEET BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12:00 MIDNIGHT AND 8:00 A.M. ON ANY LEGISLATIVE DAY UNLESS SUSPENDED BY A TWO-THIRDS VOTE OF THE MEMBERS PRESENT AND VOTING.
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That Rule 6.1 of the Rules of the House of Representatives is amended by adding at the end:
"Provided, further, that the House may not meet between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m. unless suspended by a two-thirds vote of the members present and voting."
