Earle Elementary School saved the PTA thousands of dollars; and

Whereas, it is appropriate for the members of the Senate to pause in their deliberations to recognize the achievements of so distinguished a son of South Carolina who by example typifies the best qualities of service to the textile industry which employs him and thousands of his fellow South Carolinians and to his family, church, and community and by this resolution congratulate him and extend to his wife Jan H. Horton and his three children the thanks of the members of the Senate in sharing with the people of this State the qualities of this outstanding citizen. Now, therefore,
