SUSPENDING THE LIMITATIONS ON APPROPRIATIONS PROVIDED PURSUANT TO SECTION 11-11-140, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, FOR FISCAL YEAR 1995-96 AND TO PROVIDE THAT ANY ADDITIONAL REVENUES MADE AVAILABLE FOR APPROPRIATION RESULTING FROM THIS SUSPENSION MUST BE USED FOR PROPERTY TAX RELIEF.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The provisions of Section 11-11-140 of the 1976 Code are suspended for general fund appropriations for Fiscal Year 1995-96. Additional revenues available for appropriation as a result of this suspension must be used for property tax relief.
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
