A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE MR. WAYNE TATE AND HIS FAMILY FOR THE TIRELESS WORK AND COUNTLESS HOURS DONATED TO THE BOILING SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL BAND BOOSTER CLUB.

Whereas, the Boiling Springs High School Band consistently ranks as one of the best in South Carolina; and

Whereas, the Boiling Springs High School Band depends greatly on the financial support provided by the Boiling Springs High School Band Booster Club; and

Whereas, the Boiling Springs High School Band Booster Club depends greatly on the funds generated by the concessions sold at football games and other band events; and

Whereas, at each event several hundred pounds of Tate-Fries, several hundred Wayne-Burgers, scores of hotdogs, dozens of funnel cakes, and untold gallons of soft drinks are consumed; and

Whereas, a new item, the McWayne Grilled Chicken Sandwich, was introduced and has been a success with international requests for the secret recipe; and

Whereas, rumors have circulated around the great State of South Carolina that families attend these events only to partake of the gourmet food served; and

Whereas, the Boiling Springs High School Band Booster Club concessions group is staffed by gracious parents and led by one arduous, adroit, and skillful leader. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly recognize Mr. Wayne Tate and his family for the tireless work and countless hours donated to the Boiling Springs High School Band Booster Club.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Wayne Tate and his family with the heartfelt request that they reveal the secret recipe of the World Famous McWayne Grilled Chicken Sandwich to the State of South Carolina.
