TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 6-11-330 SO AS TO AUTHORIZE A SPECIAL PURPOSE DISTRICT CREATED FOR HISTORICAL PRESERVATION TO CONVEY PROPERTY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 6-11-330. (A) A special purpose district created for historical preservation may convey property.
(B) Any conveyance by a special purpose district before the effective date of this section is validated as a lawful conveyance."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
