A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING THE SOUTH CAROLINA TUITION GRANTS PROGRAM ON ITS SILVER ANNIVERSARY AND COMMENDING THIS PROGRAM FOR ITS EXCELLENT WORK.

Whereas, the South Carolina Tuition Grants Program is celebrating its silver anniversary this year; and

Whereas, for the twenty-five years this program has operated with tremendous success and has had an outstanding impact on South Carolina's economy, higher education, the administration of state government, and the savings of tax dollars; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are appreciative of the excellent administration and benefits of the South Carolina Tuition Grants Program and wish for the program many more years of continued success. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates the South Carolina Tuition Grants Program on its silver anniversary and commends this program for its excellent work.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the South Carolina Tuition Grants Program.
