COMMENDING THE HONORABLE ROGER FLOWERS OF SUMMERTON FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE ON THE AGRICULTURE COMMISSION OF SOUTH CAROLINA.
Whereas, Commissioner Roger Flowers of Summerton has represented the state's Third Judicial Circuit on the Agriculture Commission of South Carolina since his appointment in May, 1989; and
Whereas, Commissioner Flowers is an outstanding individual and a highly respected and admired agricultural leader; and
Whereas, he has brought insight and vision, as well as superb leadership services, to the commission and has helped greatly to move agriculture in South Carolina in the right direction; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly and the citizens of the Palmetto State are truly grateful for his wonderful public service in this capacity and wish to thank him publicly for all that he has accomplished for the State. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commends the Honorable Roger Flowers of Summerton for his outstanding service on the Agriculture Commission of South Carolina.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Honorable Roger Flowers.
