A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXTENDING BEST WISHES AND CONGRATULATIONS TO MRS. GRACIE W. SCOTT UPON HER 62ND BIRTHDAY.

Whereas, Mrs. Gracie W. Scott of Columbia, South Carolina, is celebrating her 62nd birthday on June 11, 1995; and

Whereas, we wish to extend our appreciation for all that Mrs. Scott has accomplished during her long life; and

Whereas, Mrs. Scott is a faithful member of the New Ebenezer Baptist Church of Columbia who serves on the missionary circle, Jubilee Choir No. 1, Executive Board of Missionary, and the Women's Coop Executive Board; and

Whereas, Mrs. Scott and her husband, John Scott, Sr., have reared six children who have found success in the fields of public education, law enforcement, business, and elected public office; and

Whereas, Mrs. Scott served many years as an employee of the John L. Scott Realty Company, Inc.; and

Whereas, we wish to extend our best wishes to Mrs. Scott on this very special day. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly extend best wishes and congratulations to Mrs. Gracie W. Scott of Columbia upon her 62nd birthday.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Scott.
