A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO CONGRATULATE MR. DILLARD PRUITT OF GREENVILLE FOR HIS MANY ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE GAME OF GOLF.

Whereas, Mr. Dillard Pruitt of Greenville has brought great honor to himself, his community, and his State in the competitive world of golf; and

Whereas, while attending Clemson University, Dillard Pruitt won two collegiate golf events; and

Whereas, his victories in college were the beginning of many accomplishments in golf for Dillard Pruitt including 1982 South Carolina State Amateur Champion, three-time All-Atlantic Coast Conference, 1982-1984, Honorable Mention All-American in 1983, First Team All-American in 1984, and a member of the European Professional Golf Association tour in 1986 and 1987; and

Whereas, Dillard Pruitt was victorious on the Professional Golf Association tour at the Chattanooga Classic in 1991; and

Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are proud to claim Dillard Pruitt as one of South Carolina's own and to note the many accomplishments of this fine golfer. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, congratulate Mr. Dillard Pruitt of Greenville for his many achievements in the game of golf.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Dillard Pruitt.
