A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING THE SORROW OF THE MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AT THE DEATH OF RUDOLPH P. BENIK OF MYRTLE BEACH AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND MANY FRIENDS.

Whereas, Rudolph Paul Benik of Myrtle Beach died April 22, 1995, at the age of seventy-six; and

Whereas, Mr. Benik was a public accountant and an auditor under the Auditor General's Office with the resident auditor at the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base; and

Whereas, he was a graduate of The Citadel and Bowling Green College and was a veteran of World War II; and

Whereas, he was a devoted family man and an outstanding individual in every way; and

Whereas, he was a highly respected and admired member of his community and his presence will be greatly missed. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, expresses sorrow at the death of Rudolph P. Benik of Myrtle Beach and extends sympathy to his family and many friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Benik's family.
