AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE MEMBERS OF THE ORANGEBURG COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE TO BE REIMBURSED MILEAGE FROM FUNDS AVAILABLE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES OF THE COMMITTEE AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE ALLOWABLE RATE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Mileage expenses
SECTION 1. Members of the Orangeburg County Transportation Committee may be reimbursed their mileage expenses for attendance at committee meetings from the account allowed for administrative expenses of such committees for a fiscal year as provided in Section 12-27-400(B) of the 1976 Code. The rate of this reimbursement is the amount authorized by law for members of state boards, committees, and commissions.
Time Effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
