TO CONGRATULATE MR. TIM O. HALL, JR., PRESIDENT AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF THE BLUE RIDGE BANK OF WALHALLA, UPON RECEIVING THE HALF-CENTURY AWARD FROM THE SOUTH CAROLINA BANKERS ASSOCIATION.
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly are pleased to learn that the South Carolina Bankers Association presented its Half-Century award to Mr. Tim O. Hall, Jr., at its 1995 annual convention; and
Whereas, Mr. Hall began his long and distinguished banking career in February, 1945, at the Citizens Bank in Folkston, Georgia. After working in further capacities in the State of Georgia, he came to South Carolina, and for the past thirty-eight years he has been associated with the Blue Ridge Bank of Walhalla where he presently serves as president and chairman of the board; and
Whereas, South Carolina is blessed to have so many capable business and civic leaders such as Mr. Hall who have contributed so much to the success and vitality of our State and our local communities; and
Whereas, the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, would like to publicly recognize and congratulate this outstanding South Carolinian upon his receiving of this truly deserved award. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly, by this resolution, hereby congratulate Mr. Tim O. Hall, Jr., president and chairman of the board of the Blue Ridge Bank of Walhalla, upon receiving the Half-Century award from the South Carolina Bankers Association.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. Tim O. Hall, Jr.
