A HOUSE RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING BRADLEY BIEBER OF RICHLAND COUNTY ON WINNING TWO MEDALS IN THE FIFTEENTH UNITED STATES JUNIOR OLYMPIC TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Whereas, the Fifteenth United States Junior Olympic Taekwondo Championships were held July 5-8, 1995, at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California; and

Whereas, Bradley Bieber, an eight-year-old Northeast Columbia resident, earned two medals at the championships: A gold medal for first place in the Poomse (Forms) competition and a silver medal for second place in the Gyoroogi (Fighting) competition; and

Whereas, Bradley, the youngest Black Belt from South Carolina to win a gold medal at the Junior Olympics, is the son of Fred and Sharon Bieber of Northeast Columbia; and

Whereas, Bradley's accomplishments at the Junior Olympics were outstanding and are highly deserving of recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That the House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates Bradley Bieber of Richland County on winning two medals in the Fifteenth United States Junior Olympic Taekwondo Championships.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Bradley Bieber.
