A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

COMMENDING AND THANKING DOROTHY S. SCARBOROUGH OF LAMAR FOR HER EXEMPLARY AND DEVOTED SERVICE AS A MEMBER AND OFFICER OF THE DARLINGTON COUNTY WATER AND SEWER AUTHORITY.

Whereas, Dorothy S. Scarborough of Lamar served as a member of the Darlington County Water and Sewer Authority from 1971 until 1995 and was also the authority's secretary-treasurer; and

Whereas, Ms. Scarborough's service was exemplary and the citizens of Darlington County are grateful for her time, talent, energy, knowledge, and devotion; and

Whereas, her leadership is highly deserving of recognition. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, thanks Dorothy S. Scarborough of Lamar for her exemplary and devoted service as a member and officer of the Darlington County Water and Sewer Authority.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Scarborough.
