EXPRESSING PROFOUND SORROW AT THE DEATH OF ALLISON DANA KAY OF ANDERSON AND EXTENDING DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
Whereas, Allison Dana Kay died February 25, 1996, at the age of eighteen from injuries she sustained in an automobile accident; and
Whereas, Allison's tragic and untimely death has filled countless hearts with sorrow and has shaken her community; and
Whereas, Allison was a graduate of T. L. Hanna High School where she was a cheerleader, was a freshman at Clemson University where she was a financial management major, and was a member of Concord Baptist Church; and
Whereas, Allison was a beautiful, sweet, and bright young woman and the impact of her loss will be felt in Anderson for a very long time; and
Whereas, we want her family and friends to know that they are uppermost in our thoughts and have our deepest sympathy. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express profound sorrow at the death of Allison Dana Kay of Anderson and extend deepest sympathy to her family and friends.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Allison's family at 1101 Thornhill Drive in Anderson.
