TO THANK REBECCA WILLIAMS KELLY FOR HER OUTSTANDING DEDICATED LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE AS MAYOR OF SOUTH CONGAREE, SOUTH CAROLINA AND TO WISH HER WELL IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, Rebecca Williams Kelly of Lexington County served as Mayor of South Congaree, South Carolina, from February 1993 to May 7, 1996; and
Whereas, as Mayor she demonstrated outstanding leadership and was dedicated to excellence in public service; and
Whereas, during her tenure Mayor Kelly was readily available and accessible to the citizens of South Congaree; and
Whereas, her hard work, commitment, and strength of character has served her and the citizens of South Congaree well; and
Whereas, it is fitting that the members of the General Assembly acknowledge her tenure and service as Mayor. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, thank Rebecca Williams Kelly for her outstanding dedicated leadership and service as Mayor of South Congaree, South Carolina and wish her well in all her future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to be forwarded to The Honorable Rebecca Williams Kelly.
