A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING PELION ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S KNOWLEDGE MASTER TEAM OF LEXINGTON COUNTY FOR PLACING FIRST IN THE STATE IN THE SPRING OPEN COMPETITION.

Whereas, the Pelion Elementary School's Knowledge Master Team of Lexington County placed first in South Carolina in the Spring Open Competition; and

Whereas, the winning team members were Bonnie Brooks, Daniel Eastman, Hannah Humphries, Abby Peake, Myranda Pittman, Reed Gunter, Nick Fauls, Rachel Gunter, and Janie Roberts; and

Whereas, Knowledge Master is a competition hosted by Academic Hallmarks and is designed to stimulate enthusiasm for learning and recognition for academic accomplishment. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly congratulate the Pelion Elementary School's Knowledge Master Team of Lexington County for placing first in the State in the Spring Open Competition.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Pelion Elementary School.
