A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

TO RECOGNIZE MRS. ELIZABETH WOOLBRIGHT OF OCONEE COUNTY AND EXPRESS THE APPRECIATION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO HER FOR MAKING HER HOME AVAILABLE AS THE POLLING PLACE FOR PROVIDENCE PRECINCT SINCE 1927.

Whereas, since 1927 Mrs. Elizabeth Woolbright of Oconee County has most graciously and generously made her home available as the polling place for Providence Precinct; and

Whereas, through Mrs. Woolbright's outstanding leadership, dedication, and determination she was instrumental in organizing the precinct; and

Whereas, her continued devotion to civic duty and her tireless efforts serving as poll manager/clerk have been significant contributions to the successful operation of the precinct; and

Whereas, it is fitting for the members of the General Assembly to recognize Mrs. Woolbright and her commitment to public service above and beyond the call of duty. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly wish to recognize and express their appreciation to Mrs. Elizabeth Woolbright of Oconee County for making her home available as the polling place for Providence Precinct since 1927.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Woolbright.
