TO CONGRATULATE CRESCENT HIGH SCHOOL "LADY TIGERS" SOFTBALL TEAM ON CAPTURING THE 1996 CLASS AA STATE SOFTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP.
Whereas, the Crescent High School "Lady Tigers" softball team captured the Class AA State Championship by defeating Andrews by a score of 5-3; and
Whereas, this win capped a 29-4, 1996 season for the talented softball team; and
Whereas, Coach Gary Adams is to be commended for his outstanding contribution as coach and the example he sets as an individual; and
Whereas, the "Lady Tigers" by winning this state championship have brought honor and distinction to the students, faculty, and staff of Crescent High School. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulate the Crescent High School "Lady Tigers" softball team on winning the 1996 Class AA State Championship.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Coach Adams.
