TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 58-9-400 SO AS TO REQUIRE A TELEPHONE UTILITY TO PROVIDE AT LEAST ONE PAY TELEPHONE AT EVERY AIRPORT IN THE TELEPHONE UTILITY'S SERVICE AREA.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 3, Chapter 9, Title 58 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 58-9-400. A telephone utility must provide at least one pay telephone at every airport in the utility's service area."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
