TO AMEND SECTION 8-13-1110, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE FILING OF A STATEMENT OF ECONOMIC INTERESTS BY CERTAIN PERSONS, SO AS TO REQUIRE THE MEMBERS SERVING ON A COMMITTEE WHICH HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ANALYZING LEGISLATION, CONDUCTING A PUBLIC HEARING, OR MAKING RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE PROMULGATION OF REGULATIONS TO FILE A STATEMENT OF ECONOMIC INTERESTS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 8-13-1110 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 6 of 1995, is amended by adding at the end:
"(12) a member serving on a committee which has the responsibility of analyzing legislation, conducting a public hearing, or making a recommendation for the promulgation of regulations."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
