A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

CONGRATULATING CRESCENT HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS' SOFTBALL TEAM OF IVA, SOUTH CAROLINA, UPON RECOGNITION AS THE 1995 AA STATE CHAMPIONS.

Whereas, "The Lady Tigers" of Crescent High School have won the l995 State Championship in softball; and

Whereas, "The Lady Tigers" had a winning record for l995 of 3l wins and l loss; and

Whereas, "The Lady Tigers" hold two national records: 9 consecutive state championships and l3 state championships overall; and

Whereas, "The Lady Tigers" through the coaching of Gary Adams have exhibited unity, talent, hard work, and determination as evidenced by their l995 AA State Championship. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, congratulates the Crescent High School Girls' Softball Team of Iva, South Carolina, upon recognition as the l995 AA State Champions in softball.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to "The Lady Tigers", Crescent High School, 9l04 Highway 8l South, Iva, South Carolina 29655-978l.
