A JOINT RESOLUTION

TO MAKE APPROPRIATIONS FROM FISCAL YEAR 1994-1995 SURPLUS GENERAL FUND REVENUES AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE CARRYFORWARD OF UNEXPENDED FUNDS.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. From the surplus general fund revenues available after the close of FY 1994-1995, the following appropriation is authorized for the stated purpose:

1. Department of Transportation

Conway By-Pass Project $75,000,000

The Department of Transportation is authorized to use the funds appropriated in this section, in conjunction with any other funds available or made available to the Department, for the purpose of issuing debt for the completion of the Conway By-Pass Project.

SECTION 2. Funds appropriated pursuant to the Joint Resolution but unexpended at the close of FY 1995-1996 may be carried forward to succeeding fiscal years and expended for the same purposes.

SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
