AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 31-6-30, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO TAX INCREMENT FINANCING FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECTS, SO AS TO REVISE THE DEFINITION OF VACANT LAND.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Definition revised

SECTION 1. Section 31-6-30(10) of the 1976 Code is amended to read:

"(10) `Vacant land' means any parcel or combination of parcels of real property without industrial, commercial, and residential buildings."

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
