A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 56-1-144 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A BLUE-COLORED "F" MUST BE IMPRINTED ON THE DRIVER'S LICENSE OF A CONVICTED FELON.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 56-1-144. Notwithstanding another provision of law, the Department of Public Safety shall print a blue-colored 'F' on the bottom left corner of the driver's license of a convicted felon."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
