A HOUSE RESOLUTION

TO AMEND RULE 10 OF THE RULES OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, RELATING TO MISCELLANEOUS RULES, SO AS TO ADD RULE 10.11, SO AS TO REQUIRE THAT A BULK MAIL PERMIT BE OBTAINED AND REQUIRE THAT ALL OFFICIAL MAIL OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES DELIVERED BY THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE BE MAILED USING THE BULK MAIL PERMIT WHENEVER POSSIBLE, AND REQUIRE THE MAIL ROOM SERVING THE HOUSE TO REMAIN OPEN UNTIL 6:00 P.M. ON TUESDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS WHEN THE HOUSE IS IN SESSION.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:

That Rule 10 of the Rules of the House of Representatives be amended by adding:

"10.11 (A) The person responsible for mailing all official mail of the House of Representatives must obtain a bulk mail permit and mail all official mail of the House of Representatives using the bulk mail permit whenever possible.

(B) The mail room serving the House of Representatives shall remain open until 6:00 P.M. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when the House is in session."
