TO RECOGNIZE THE SHARE ORGANIZATION FOR THIRTY- ONE YEARS OF REBUILDING FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES ON THE OCCASION OF ITS ANNUAL BANQUET ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20, 1997.
Whereas, SHARE, or Sunbelt Human Advancement Resources, Inc., is in its thirty-first year of "people helping people" in Greenville, Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties; and
Whereas, SHARE works effectively with numerous agencies of the State of South Carolina to help people attain the goal of becoming self-sufficient; and
Whereas, SHARE has maintained a constant goal to better prepare families and communities for the 21st century and has proclaimed the theme of "Rebuilding Families and Communities for the New Millennium" for its annual banquet on Thursday, February 20, 1997; and
Whereas, SHARE has selflessly worked for the betterment of families and communities throughout the Upstate in which it helps approximately 25, 000 people each year in Greenville, Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the Senate of South Carolina would like to publicly recognize the SHARE organization for thirty-one years of rebuilding families and communities on the occasion of its annual banquet and extends best wishes for continued success.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Sunbelt Human Advancement Resources, Inc., in care of Willis H. Crosby, Jr., Ed. D. (President) and Dr. Thomas J. Bowman, Sr. (Chairman).
