A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

EXPRESSING SORROW AT THE DEATH OF THE REVEREND WILLIAM C. "BILL" BOCHMAN, JR., OF SUMTER COUNTY AND EXTENDING SYMPATHY TO HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

Whereas, the Reverend William C. "Bill" Bochman, Jr., of Sumter County died April 20, 1997, at the age of fifty; and

Whereas, he was born in Columbia and was the former pastor of Crosswell Baptist Church and served in the Marine Corps Reserves; and

Whereas, he graduated from the University of South Carolina, Columbia Bible College, and Southwestern Theological Seminary; and

Whereas, he was a highly respected and greatly admired minister of the Gospel and member of his community and his presence will be missed; and

Whereas, we want his family and friends to know that they are uppermost in our thoughts and have our deepest sympathy. Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

That the members of the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, express sorrow at the death of the Reverend William C. "Bill" Bochman, Jr., of Sumter County and extend sympathy to his family and friends.

Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Reverend Bochman's family.
